Every design is developed in-house and made with intention, from the first sketch to the finished piece.
Our lingerie is made to order, allowing each piece to be created specifically for the person who wears it.

THE WOMAN BEHIND LETHE
Carolina Kakaidi
Lethe began long before it became a business.
While studying fashion design, I started creating my own lingerie simply because I couldn't find the things I wanted to wear.
One design became another. Then patterns began covering my dining table, fabrics filled my home, and eventually there was barely a corner that wasn't occupied by Lethe.
In 2017, I decided to turn that obsession into a brand.
In 2021, Lethe moved into its own studio in Athens — a space where I could finally give the work the room it deserved.
Today, I still design and create the majority of the lingerie myself. I draft the patterns, cut the fabrics, sew the pieces, inspect them, package orders and answer your emails.
Lethe has grown, but the heart of it hasn't changed.
It is still one woman, making things she genuinely wants to exist.

Your Lethe piece begins when you place your order.
We cut the materials, construct the garment and prepare it especially for you.
Need a different size? A different colour? Something outside our standard measurements?
We'll make it work whenever we can.
YOUR BODY IS THE PATTERN
Lingerie shouldn't require your body to fit a predetermined shape.
If our standard sizes don't work for you, we offer custom sizing so your piece can be made to your measurements.
MADE IN ATHENS
Every Lethe lingerie design is handmade to order in our Athens studio by Carolina herself.
From pattern cutting and fabric preparation to sewing, finishing and packaging, each piece passes through the studio before it reaches you.
Our swimwear and clothing collections are produced locally by a small-scale manufacturer we work closely with.
HOW WE USE MATERIALS
We purchase materials in small quantities and produce most lingerie after an order is placed. Usable offcuts are kept for sampling and small projects, while some larger remnants become bedding for our animals. Pieces with cosmetic imperfections may be offered at reduced prices through Instagram Stories or Ready to Ship.
A PRIVATE ARRIVAL
Every order is packaged discreetly and includes an illustrated Lethe card.
